Refund Policy

Overview

At Creative Ocean Designs, we are committed to delivering the highest quality branding, design, and creative services. As a professional service-based agency, our refund policy is structured to be fair to both our clients and our team. Please read the following terms carefully before engaging our services.

1. Eligibility for Refund

Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of the initial project payment, provided that no design work has commenced.

Once the creative process has begun (including initial concepts, mood boards, or any design drafts), the project is considered active and refunds will not be processed in full.

If the project has not been started and no resources have been allocated, a full refund will be processed within 10–15 business days to the original payment method.

2. Partial Refunds

In cases where work has partially been completed, Creative Ocean Designs may offer a partial refund based on the proportion of work delivered. The refund amount will be calculated after deducting costs for completed milestones, purchased resources (stock images, fonts, printing materials), and time invested by the creative team.

3. Non-Refundable Services

Completed design deliverables that have been approved by the client

Print production costs once printing has been initiated

Photography and cinematography session fees after the shoot has been conducted

Rush or expedited service fees

Third-party licensing fees (fonts, images, stock assets)

4. How to Request a Refund

To initiate a refund request, please email us at care@codesigns7.com with your project details, invoice number, and reason for the refund. Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.

All approved refunds will be processed within 10–15 business days.

5. Dispute Resolution

If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, you may request a review by our senior management by writing to codesigns7@gmail.com. We are committed to resolving all disputes amicably and fairly.

Cancellation Policy

Project Cancellation

We understand that business needs change. Creative Ocean Designs allows project cancellations under the following terms:

1. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If you wish to cancel a project before any design work has commenced, you may do so without any cancellation charges. Any advance payment will be refunded in full within 10–15 business days.

2. Cancellation After Work Has Started

Cancellation during the initial concept/mood board phase — 25% of the total project fee will be retained for work completed.

Cancellation after first design drafts have been shared — 50% of the total project fee will be retained.

Cancellation after revisions have been incorporated — 75% of the total project fee will be retained.

No cancellations are accepted after final approval has been given by the client.

3. Cancellation of Photography/Video Shoots

Photography and cinematography sessions require advance booking of crew, equipment, and sometimes studio/location rentals. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a scheduled shoot will attract a cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the shoot, or no-shows, will be charged in full.

4. Cancellation of Print Production

Once print production has been sent to the press, cancellations are not possible. For pre-press cancellations, any costs incurred for plate-making, material procurement, or pre-press proofing will be charged to the client.

5. How to Cancel

To cancel a project or service, please send a written request to care@codesigns7.com with your project name, invoice number, and reason for cancellation. The cancellation will be effective from the date we acknowledge your request in writing.

Shipping & Delivery Policy

Overview

Creative Ocean Designs is primarily a professional services company offering branding, design, photography, and production services. This Shipping & Delivery Policy applies to the delivery of physical goods including printed materials, packaging samples, photography prints, and branded collateral.

1. Digital Deliverables

All design files, brand guidelines, logos, photography, and video content are delivered digitally via secure cloud links (Google Drive, WeTransfer, or similar platforms). Digital deliverables are typically shared within 2–5 business days of final client approval. High-resolution source files are provided upon full payment clearance.

2. Physical Deliverables (Print & Production)

Print-ready samples and proofs — delivered within 5–7 business days within Delhi NCR, and 7–12 business days for Pan-India delivery.

Bulk print production orders — delivery timelines are communicated in the project quotation and typically range from 10–21 business days depending on quantity and complexity.

Photography prints and framed artwork — delivered within 7–10 business days.

3. Shipping Partners

We use reputable courier and logistics partners including DTDC, Delhivery, BlueDart, and India Post for domestic shipments. For international shipments, we use DHL and FedEx. Shipping partner selection is based on destination, package weight, and urgency.

4. Shipping Charges

Shipping charges for physical deliverables are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination. Exact shipping costs will be communicated in the project invoice before dispatch. For Delhi NCR deliveries, we offer complimentary hand-delivery for orders above ₹10,000.

5. Tracking

Once your physical order is dispatched, we will share the tracking number and courier partner details via email and/or WhatsApp. You can track your shipment in real-time using the courier's tracking portal.

6. Damaged or Lost Shipments

If your shipment arrives damaged or is lost in transit, please notify us within 48 hours of the expected delivery date by emailing care@codesigns7.com with photographic evidence (for damaged goods). We will arrange a replacement or refund for the shipping charges as applicable. Claims raised after 48 hours may not be eligible for resolution.

7. International Shipping

International shipments of physical materials may be subject to customs duties and taxes, which are the responsibility of the recipient. Delivery timelines for international orders range from 7–21 business days depending on destination and customs clearance.

Creative Ocean Designs provides Pantone references and print proofs to minimise discrepancies, but we cannot guarantee 100% colour matching between digital and print media.

4. Third-Party Content

Our website may include links to third-party websites, stock image providers, or external resources. These links are provided for convenience only and do not signify endorsement. We have no control over the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites and accept no responsibility for them.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Creative Ocean Designs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the specific service in question.

6. FSSAI & Regulatory Compliance

While we design packaging and labels that comply with FSSAI norms and relevant regulations to the best of our knowledge, the final responsibility for regulatory compliance lies with the brand owner / client. Clients are advised to have all packaging designs reviewed by their legal or compliance teams before print production.

Agreement

By accessing and using the Creative Ocean Designs website (www.codesigns7.com) and/or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services

Creative Ocean Designs provides branding, packaging design, logo design, food photography, cinematography, and print production services. The scope, timeline, deliverables, and pricing for each project are defined in individual project proposals or quotations shared with the client before commencement.

2. Quotations & Pricing

All quotations are valid for 15 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

Prices are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST at 18%) unless specified.

Any changes in project scope after approval may result in revised pricing, which will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding.

3. Payment Terms

An advance payment of 50% of the total project fee is required to commence work.

The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of final approved designs or before print production begins.

For projects exceeding ₹1,00,000, milestone-based payment schedules may be arranged.

All payments must be made via bank transfer (NEFT/RTGS/UPI) to the company account. Details will be shared upon agreement.

Late payments beyond 15 days from invoice date may attract interest at 1.5% per month.

4. Intellectual Property

All design work created by Creative Ocean Designs remains the intellectual property of COD until full payment has been received.

Upon full payment, the intellectual property rights for the final approved designs are transferred to the client.

Creative Ocean Designs retains the right to showcase completed projects in its portfolio, website, and marketing materials unless the client provides written objection.

Source files (AI, PSD, INDD) are provided only upon specific request and full payment.

Any pre-existing intellectual property (fonts, stock images, illustrations) used in the design remains subject to its original licensing terms.

5. Client Responsibilities

Provide accurate and complete brand information, reference materials, and project briefs.

Review and provide feedback on design drafts within 5 business days of submission.

Ensure all text, claims, and regulatory information provided for packaging designs are accurate and legally compliant.

Obtain necessary approvals from regulatory authorities (FSSAI, BIS, etc.) before print production.

6. Revisions

Each project includes up to 3 rounds of revisions on the agreed-upon design direction. Additional revisions beyond the included rounds will be charged on a per-revision basis as communicated in the project quotation. Major changes that alter the fundamental design direction (new concept/restart) are treated as new projects and quoted separately.

7. Timelines

Project timelines are communicated in the project proposal and are subject to timely client feedback and content submission. Delays caused by late client feedback, content changes, or scope modifications may extend the project timeline. Creative Ocean Designs will communicate any timeline changes proactively.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary business information shared during the course of the project. This includes brand strategies, unreleased product information, pricing data, and business plans. This obligation survives the termination of the business relationship.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi, India.
